This course is for people who want to gain a full understanding, and knowledge of health and safety processes, in a warehousing environment, including manual handling, checking of stock, order processing, and the packing and storage of goods for dispatch.
You will also look at detailed customer service processes, and the impact they will have on an organisation.

On sucessful completion of this course you will gain a Principles of Warehousing Certificate Level 2 from TQUK.

    Understand health and safety considerations in a warehousing environment

    Understand how to reduce risks in a warehousing environment

  • UNIT 2 - Understand the principles of warehousing goods

    Understand the different types and functions of warehousing

    Understand the goods-in process

    Understand the principles of storing goods

  • UNIT 3 - Understand the process of stock checking and preparing goods for dispatch

    Understand the need for undertaking stock checks in the warehousing environment

    Understand the processes involved following a stock check

    Understand the process for packaging goods in readiness for dispatch

    Understand the process to follow prior to dispatch

  • UNIT 4: The importance of customer service in the warehousing environment

    Understand the importance of good customer service internally and externally

    Understand how to deliver good customer service

    Understand the impact of customer service in the warehousing environment
